HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year! I hope your year is off to a good start. I can hardly believe it's 2018! Where has the time gone?

Last year was pretty monumental for me. Experiencing everything Reed had to go through was pretty eye opening. As a family we had to find a new normal and it was both hard and beautiful. I went from working full time to being a stay at home mom so I could care for Reed while he went through testing and a couple of rounds of sclerotherapy. I got to spend all year at home with my boys and honestly I had dreamed about doing that since Ryan was born. Being a stay at home mom isn't for everyone and I don't think it's for me for much longer but, it has brought me such joy and peace of mind that I will never forget this time I had being the mom I had always dreamed of being. I will forever be grateful to my husband for allowing me this much needed time with my babies.

I also took a leap of faith last year and invested in starting this little blog of mine. Everyone said the first year of blogging would be tough and they weren't kidding. I still have a lot of growing to do but I intend on doing just that because I've loved every minute of blogging. This year I hope to connect more with you. I'm still trying to get comfortable with  posting videos and talking to you daily but exactly that is what I love most about blogging. It's really pushed me to connect with people and be more comfortable in my own skin.

This year I hope to take this blog places I haven't even dreamed of yet. Fashion is definitely on my radar and I want to focus just a bit more on that than ever. My background is design and although that has been a little on the back burner I want to continue to share interior design content because it's truly my first love. I get a lot of questions about why I post things I shop for or if I am getting paid to post those things so I hope to clarify that all up in the near future. I want my blog to be an easy place for you to shop from and I want you to trust that I am sharing the best sales I can possibly find. I seriously love sale shopping and I want to share all about that with you.

As I look back on 2017 the word "growth" comes to mind. I feel like a completely different person than I was a year ago. I feel stronger, happier and most importantly I care a little less about the negative opinions of others. What a year!

I honestly wish you the best 2018 and I hope I can help you, inspire you and get to know you a little more this year. <3
